A. Darlene Walters

A. Darlene Walters, 79, of Saxton, PA; passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.  She was born on April 7, 1938 in Finleyville, Pennsylvania; a daughter of the late John J. and Edith V. (Barnett) Wenglik. 

She is survived by children Janice Horton married to Bob, Saxton, PA, Sherri Knechtel married to the late Frank, Waynesboro, PA and Lisa Van Dyke married to Allen, Mt. Pleasant, PA; sisters Kay Calhoun married to Darrel and Sandra Scatena; grandchildren Bobby Jo Hinkel, Neil Horton, Alecia Van Dyke, Danyelle Butler and Tyler Knechtel; great-grandchildren Jayden Horton, Nevin Hinkel, Madeline Hinkel, Bristol Knechtel, Kenzie Knechtel and Cole Butler.

Darlene was of the Protestant Faith.

Family and Friends may call at the Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until the hour of service at the Chapel.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Akers Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jeff Musser officiating.

Burial will be held at Yellow Creek Reformed Cemetery.
