Shaun Akers married to Jennifer (Imgrund).  Shaun and Jennifer have two children, Gregory Carter Akers and Caylin Dawn Akers.  He and his wife reside on Mifflin Street in Saxton.  Jennifer is a Registered Nurse at UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital in the Outpatient Department.  Shaun is a native from the Breezewood/Everett area.  He purchased the former Masood Funeral Chapel in Saxton in June of 2004.  He is a member of the Trinity United Church of Christ, Lions Club, Everett Masonic Lodge F.&A.M. No. 524, Saxton Chapter No. 161 Order of Eastern Star, Everett Area Better Business Association and the Broad Top Chamber of Commerce.  He enjoys hunting and spending time with his children.

G. Carter Akers, Junior Supervisor Office Phone: My Daddy's Number I was born on September 3, 2008.  I reside with my daddy, mommy and sister in Saxton.

Caylin D. Akers, Junior Supervisor I was born on January 8, 2010.  My daddy and mommy call me "Sweet Pea".

Albert N. Masood, Supervisor / Funeral Director Office Phone: 814.635.2211 Albert N. Masood and wife Nancy (Tenley) live in Saxton.  Al owned and operated the funeral chapel for thirty-three years.  He and his wife are members of Saxton United Methodist Church.  They have three children: Melissa, Alecia, Albert N. Masood II and seven grandchildren.  Al sits on the Saxton Community Library Board, Broad Top Area Senior Citizens Board and is a member of Broad Top Chamber of Commerce, Saxton Lions Club, Everett F.&A.M. Lodge No. 524 and Altoona Jaffa Shrine.  He is active with the Broad Top Area Honor Guard.  He and Nancy enjoy taking vacations with their family and the trips to visit family in Connecticut and Virginia Beach.

Patty Walters, Administrative Assistant Office Phone: 814-652-6636 Patty (Mellott) is married to Robert Walters and they reside in Breezewood.  Patty has been employed at various businesses in Breezewood and the Everett area.  Bob retired from New Enterprise Stone & Lime Company in 2005.  Bob and Patty are members of the Everett Church of God.  They have two daughters: Brenda and Beth married to Chris Pyles.  They enjoy spending time with family and going on trips with friends.  Patty’s hobbies include gardening, reading, oil painting and babysitting her grand doggies.

Robert Jenkins, Funeral Director Assistant Robert "Bob" is married to Carol (Shippey), wife of 46 years.  They have two children Robert Jr. and Bonnie.  Bob and his wife Carol owned and operated White, Jenkins and Johnson Insurance Agency in Saxton for thirty one years until his retirement in 2005, at which time he began to assist at the funeral chapel in Saxton.  He and his wife are members of Trinity United Church of Christ, Saxton where Bob serves on the consistory and Carol serves as Elder Emeritus.   Bob is a member of the Broad Top Chamber of Commerce, Saxton Lions Club, and life member of Saxton Volunteer Fire Company.  He and his wife enjoy their annual trips to Disney World, Florida and Kitty Hawk, North Carolina.

Dale Walls, Funeral Director Assistant Dale is married to Ruth (Brumbaugh) Walls, they reside in Saxton.  They have two children and five grandchildren.  Dale and Ruth are members of Raven Run Church of Brethren where they serve as Deacon and Deaconess.  Dale is retired from Barkman Oil Company where he worked for thirty years until his retirement in 2005.  He then began to work at the Funeral Chapel in Saxton.  Ruth is employed at Foster F. Wineland Equipment, Martinsburg for over twenty-five years as Controller.  He and his wife enjoy taking and organizing bus trips to various places.

John Price, Funeral Director Assistant John and Iva Jean (Snyder) Price live in Everett.  They are active members of the First Christian Church.  John retired from the Everett Post Office in 2007 after 40 1/2 years as a city letter carrier.  They have two married daughters and three grandchildren.  Julie and her family live in Madison, NJ.  Jennifer and her family live in Ellicott City, MD.  John began working for Akers Funeral Home in Everett on March 7, 2010.  They love spending time with their family, especially their grandchildren.  They are avid Penn State and Steeler fans.
